This affordability crisis is completely the making of Donald Trump and his loyal servant Mike Lawler. Tariffs guaranteed to make everything more expensive? Sure! Start a needless war in Iran and send gas prices over $4 dollars? Mike Lawler’s says “Go for it!”

Trump said “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation, not even a little bit.” (NY Times, 5/17/26) And yet Lawler is one of Trump’s biggest cheerleaders.

Lawler voted to slash Medicaid. Why? To pay for tax cuts for billionaires. As a result our healthcare premiums are skyrocketing and 800 nurses in the Hudson Valley have been laid off.

He voted to give ICE a blank check . . . allow warrantless surveillance on Americans . . .to bomb Gaza and send billions of our tax dollars to Israel.

He’s done nothing to defend America against Trump’s hi-jacking of our democracy -part of a cowardly Congress that rubber-stamps Trump’s every autocratic demand.

Lawler talks moderate but votes MAGA. His loyalty is to Trump, the Epstein elite and the super-pacs that give him millions of dollars, not to Hudson Valley voters.
